I have been switching to more affordable supplement products just to cut down on cost, but still stay healthy. One of the supplements I switched to was the Vitacost Omega-3 Citrus Soft Chews. They taste great, are easy to take and contain the same quality omega-3 nutrients as any top brand omega-3 supplement product.
The Vitacost Omega-3 Citrus Soft Chews come in a bag with 60 soft chews inside that are individual wrapped. The soft chews are orange colored with a citrus flavor. They rather remind me of orange starbursts. They do taste good, but are a little bit too sweet so I am always washing down with a drink after taking one or two of these supplements. The chews are easy to chew, but they do stick to the teeth a bit. The nutrients in these citrus supplements are vitamin C and omega-3 fatty acids. The other ingredients that are used to help create these supplements are corn syrup, fish oil, gelatin, palm oil, sugar, paprika, soy, citric acids, cornstarch and natural flavoring. There aren't any unnatural ingredients in these soft chews, which is one of the things I really like about them.
Now I take one supplement a day to help reduce inflammation in my body due to my autoimmune disease since omega-3 fatty acids do contain natural anti-inflammatory properties in them. On days when the inflammation in my body is server, I do take two supplements, but I did talk to my doctor to make sure this was safe for me to do. Therefore, if you want to take more than one omega-3 soft chews a day I would recommend you talk to your doctor as well. The supplements do not cause any kind of side effects for me, which is nice. However, I always take these supplements with a meal because I feel they absorb better and provide the nutrients my body needs properly. I have taken them without food on days where I tend too not be as hungry and they do not upset my stomach, which is nice.
I would highly recommend this affordable soft chews to anyone looking for a good quality omega-3 supplements because they have worked well for me. I do hope those of you who try these omega-3 supplements like the way they taste, how easy they are to take and how well they work with your body. I wish you all the best with staying healthy naturally.
