Product Review: VOV Anti Trouble BB Cream

I have used and reviewed a lot of BB creams. I liked most of them, but I have never loved any of those BB creams because the coverage and the color match were never good enough for me. But I kept buying more to try because they are better for the skin and textures were better than the regular foundations. And all the troubles finally paid off. As soon as I put on VOV anti trouble BB cream, I fell in love with it.

First of all, VOV anti trouble BB cream is very cheap. I bought it for 6900 won on gmarket, which is about 6 dollars. One thing that I have a little trouble with is that you have to pay for international shipping, which can be a bit pricy, about 15000 won if you only buy the bb cream. So, I suggest you buy other things as well to save on shipping if you are ordering from gmarket.

I am not completely satisfied with the color match, but it is good enough for me. I have one in number 21, which is a light beige color. If you are looking to buy this, I suggest buying 21 if you have light to medium skin color since other people who have used this bb cream has mentioned that 23 was too dark. This bb cream, like other bb creams, has a pinkish gray tone. I have a lot of yellow in my coloring, so when I first put this bb cream on, it looks a bit off. But, when I blend this on my face, it just turns into my skin color and looks completely natural. It does look a little too pink for me in natural light, but it is not too obvious.

The coverage is light to medium. It covers my dark circles almost completely but it does not cover most of my zits. I use a separate concealer if I want but I usually do not need to.

One thing that I like the most has to be that this does not cause any breakouts for me. I have used this for about a month and I have gotten a few breakouts from now and then but I do not think it is because of this bb cream. I think it actually helped me heal my breakouts faster. So, this would be very good for you if you are breaking out and need some coverage but every foundation breaks you out. But, you should not rely on this only to stop your breakouts since this is more of a foundation than a skincare product.

Also, I find this moisturizing. It is not that moisturizing so you definitely need a moisturizer under this but I kept getting some dry flakes on my cheeks and chin that most other foundations would just emphasize but this bb cream did not emphasize it at all. It actually helped me get rid of them. But, I think it makes me a little shiny, so you should use a powder over it to control shine.

It comes in a 50ml tube bottle. The packaging is not pretty but nice and sturdy. I never had any problems with this leaking or not coming out. Also, it has spf of 17, which is good enough except during the hot summer days.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who is suffering from acne but cannot find a suitable foundation. You should definitely try this if you are looking for a natural looking foundation that will not break you out. But, I do not recommend this if your skintone is too light or medium-dark, or do not like moisturizing foundations.
