At first I thought that the gift looked wonderful, clearly a bit funky looking but still an alarm clock and of course practical. Then I pushed the test button to hear what they alarm sounded like and after I came back down from hitting the ceiling I realized that the sound was a rooster crowing. Well, okay I didn't literally hit the ceiling but I certainly was quite startled by the sound of a rooster crowing. It wasn't just that it was a rooster crowing, but it was quite loud actually. I wasn't sure if I should laugh as the gift was clearly a joke or if I should be concerned that my mom had intended me to actually use the Wacky Wakers Rooster Alarm Clock to wake me up.
Well after talking to my mom we had a laugh about the gift, and oddly enough she actually thought I would use it. I have to admit though that was not the case at all. I never used the alarm clock to wake me up but I did use it as a clock to see what time it was. I had packed it away when we moved over a year ago and a couple of months ago I came across it. My toddler took a liking to the look of the Wacky Wakers Rooster Alarm Clock and found the test button all by himself. At first I thought that he would be really scared but he just laughed and pushed it again to hear the strange sound.
Although this alarm clock is not for me apparently there are fans of it. So if you are really annoyed by the sound of a rooster crowing and wouldn't want to hear that first thing in the morning I wouldn't recommend it, but if that is something that you would enjoy then you would probably like this the Wacky Wakers Rooster Alarm Clock.

I couldn't handle that noise in the morning! Great job on the article! :)
it would be a great gag gift, but I couldn't wake up to the sound of a wacky rooster. lol.
LOL.. that thing would not last long in my house. A crowing rooster is not how I would want to start my day.
this sounds really cute, but i get enough noise 530 every morning with my 3 lol. great job here.
