Product Review: West Bend Crock Pot

I have a couple of young children who are age two and ten months so cooking is a challenge for me. The ten month old always wants me to hold him and cries if I don't. The two year old distracts me with his play, which makes it difficult to get any cooking done. Cooking became impossible so we just decided to dine at restaurants, which didn't help us financially. Cooking became simple when I purchased the West Bend Crock Pot. I like the West Bend Crock Pot for so many reasons.

The West Bend Crock Pot makes it easy for me to cook. It comes with a recipe book, which has given me a lot of wonderful cooking ideas. Using the recipe book I just gather different foods and throw it in the crock-pot and by the time dinner comes around the food is ready. The West Bend Crock Pot has six-quart capacity so I can put enough food to feed ten people if I needed. An example, of a simple dish I cooked was chicken, potatoes and vegetables. I put the chicken and potatoes in the crock-pot at nine in the morning. The vegetables went in the crock-pot at three in the afternoon. By five o'clock the meal was completed.

The West Bend Crock Pot makes your food taste wonderful. For example, the chicken I cooked was tender and moist. It tasted better than some homemade chicken recipes that I have cooked in the past. The potatoes tasted smooth. The vegetables tasted like they were steamed to perfection.

The West Bend Crock Pot has wonderful features. For example, it has a removable top so I can easily throw food into the crock-pot. The top has a see through glass that I can see how the food is doing. The glass is also safe to put in the microwave. The handle of the top is made of plastic so your hands won't burn when you want to remove the top. The exterior is made of stainless steel so it makes washing the pot easy.

The West Bend Crock Pot can be purchased at Kohl's stores. I bought the crock-pot for $40 dollars not including tax. The money is well worth the product. The crock-pot has saved me time and money. The crock-pot also comes with a ninety-day warranty. So if you have any problems you can get it fixed by the manufacturer.
