Product Review: YC's Chocolate Milk with Orange Bits

Gluten Free and Sugar Free

Genie Walker
I was browsing through the Gluten Free Mall's on-line catalog when I came across a candy bar that was both gluten free and sugar free and looked like it would taste good, so I ordered it along with some other foods that struck my fancy. My box of goodies arrived in a week's time (more on those in future articles). If you were paying attention you would have noticed that I have my priorities straight - I tried the chocolate first. I'm so glad I did. It was ... (I'm searching desperately for the right word) ... superb ... marvelous ... fantastic ... incredible ... extraordinary ... out of this world good.

The taste of YC's chocolate milk bar with orange bits is absolutely divine. It is a deep rich chocolate that made me think as I was absorbing its flavor that this particular chocolate should be placed high within the category of those special treats that are only eaten during the holidays or for days when you just want to be totally decadent. It tasted so good that I had to check the package again and again - yep still states that it is sugar free and the box it came in is from Gluten Free Mall so I know it is gluten free. Another bite and I check again. It is that good.

The 2.9 oz chocolate bar is divided into 15 sections (3 x 5). I ate a 2 sections and it was so rich that it was almost more than I could handle. It gave me the shivers. The taste of chocolate blended in with the taste of orange is a stroke of genius. What an awesome combination. I'm keeping my YC's Chocolate Milk with Orange Bits bar for those days when I feel the need to pamper myself or reward myself for a job well done. I can see myself now, I'll be looking for things to do so I can say I did a good job so I need to reward myself. I finished this article, so I can...no that's not enough. How about ... I submitted my article to AC. No still not enough. How about ... I submitted my article, AC accepted it and offered me enough money to buy another bar. That sounds about right doesn't it?
