Product Review: New York Color Lipstick & Nail Enamel

Beauty & Femme
One thing that I've always loved about New York Color (N.Y.C.) makeup is that it was always so cheap. When I couldn't afford anything else, I could always afford New York Color. It's the best cosmetic line for anyone who wants to look glamorous on a budget.

I read a lot of beauty magazines, and beauty editors always recommend high end makeup, but they always seem to throw in a little New York Color. The products get good reviews from the beauty experts, so they must be good enough for me, too.

I went straight to Wal-Mart and picked up a lipstick in Mulberry, a purplish burgundy color, and three nail polishes in Broadway Burgundy: a shimmering pinkish burgundy, Skin Tight Denim: a shimmering blue, and Black Lace: a creamy solid black. Each item only costs $.98 each!

Now, I don't know if you've ever seen New York Color, but don't expect it to be the size of those Bon Bons makeup, because they are much larger. New York Color comes in full sized products.

I will definitely be buying their lipstick again. Know why? It goes on smoothly, and lasts for hours. It kind of stains your lips, and the color barely fades. But don't worry. It doesn't get dry and flaky like most other long wearing lipsticks. The lipstick is pure greatness.

On to the nail polishes. These polishes have vibrant, long wearing color as well. It's slow to chip, and dries fairly quickly.

New York Color makeup actually is worth more than its price. It performs very well for a $.98 item. I would recommend BOTH of these products. They have great color, they last long, and the price is cheap, cheap, cheap. Find these products at Wal-Mart, any drugstore, or on the New York Color website.
