Product Review: Zicam Cold Remedy Rapid Melts

I being a mother of three get to endure a large variety of different sicknesses that my children bring home to me from school and daycare. Children are like disease carrying petri dishes absorbing everything in their path. Every month of the year it is something different from the cold, to the flu and ear infections. Unfortunately I catch it all and I am always sicker longer than everybody else. I find it hard to get over everything. So I started making sure I was getting enough vitamins and stuff to strengthen my immune system to battle these viruses. This alone was not enough. I still would catch cold and stuff and would have to sit at work not being able to talk because my throat was sore and I was coughing.

Then I heard about this product that will help you get over your cold faster if taken after you notice the first symptoms. This product is called Zicam cold remedy rapid melts. I thought that I would give it a shot and try it out to see if it helps any. What's the worst that could happen?

Well it turns out this product does actually work. I must admit I was skeptical at first, but if taken just as it described it will actually help out a bit.

Zicam Cold Remedy is sold in small boxes which contain bottles of 25 quick dissolve tablets. A person experiencing the first onset of cold symptoms should take one tablet immediately and continue to take the tablets every three hours for the next 48 hours. Be sure not to take the medicine on an empty stomach as it may cause stomach upset. Zicam Cold Remedy quick dissolve tablets are flavored with cherry and have a chalky feel to them when in your mouth. You are to not eat or drink for 15 minutes after taking the dissolve tablet. Also if you drink or eat citrus fruits or their juices, wait 30 before taking the tablet and 30 min after.

I used this product as soon as I noticed symptoms of a cold. I have been taking it like it says and have experienced only very mild illness.

If you are tired of trying to mask the symptoms of a cold and want to lessen the severity, this product is for you. It shortens the duration and makes the whole experience not all that bad.

What I liked about this product is that it worked and didn't taste horrible. It was easy to use and the pill bottle was small enough to fit into my purse.

What I did not like was that every product by Zicam is expensive. You have to be willing to fork out a few bucks to buy it. For the price there aren't that many tablets either.

My overall opinion is that I truly do love this product and recommend it to others. It really does help.
