When I'm hungry in the morning or afternoon, I reach for a Zone Perfect Bar. I recently discovered these little devils of sweet success a few weeks ago. They satisfy my hunger and give me energy for the day while providing me with the essential vitamins I need. At work I'm often so busy I don't get to take a break or sometimes even go for lunch. These bars are convenient, filling and perfect when I'm in a rush.
These bars are sold individually at my local grocer for $1.30 a piece, but just recently discovered you can buy them in boxes too. You can buy them in boxes of twelve for around $17.88.
These bars are great to eat instead of grabbing a regular chocolate bar and consuming empty calories and fat. I find that this bar is very satisfying. I get my chocolate fix and hunger fix all at once without feeling too guilty. Its fast and I can throw one in my purse when I'm on the go and don't have time to stop for breakfast.
If you find yourself eating a lot of junk food in-between meals, this is a great way to change your nasty habit. You satisfy your need while being healthier too.
I loved the product because it tastes really good. It has plenty of vitamins and high in protein. What disappointed me a bit was the price of the product, amount of calories, amount of fat, high sugar and high sodium. This bar is not as healthy as others, almost fits into a regular chocolate bar category except it has vitamins and protein.
My overall opinion is this bar is great to replace chocolate bars and real bad junk food but not so great for serious dieters. Sugar, sugar, and more sugar is in this bar. That is why it tastes so good. If it tastes bad then it's healthy, you know you've done well. I must say it was a good attempt, but Zone Perfect must try harder if they expect to cater to dieters.
