KeraCare Curling Wax is a heat and hold product, meaning that you apply the product, style and heat to create a strong, durable hold. It works great on any hair style whether it be a simple, laid back style, or a snazzy up-do for a night out on the town. Thanks to it's dependable hold, KeraCare Curling Wax has been used in on run-way models, for pageants and for expensive up-do's that need to hold their own weight.
When using KeraCare Curling Wax apply the wax section by section and style it using a blow dryer, curl iron, flat iron, or heater curlers. Style as you normally would using this method for an long-lasting hair-do. (Using sponge rollers and setting over night is not recommended.)
If you don't have time to create a heat and hold effect, no worries! Simply apply a small amount to achieve the strong hold. However, using KeraCare Curling Wax without heat takes special precautions to avoid a waxy build-up. When styling with out heat, always be sure to use a minimal amount. Too much wax, will definitely create a waxy mess that is not very attractive.
Another great use for KeraCare Curling Wax is creating a wet' look. Simply apply a small amount of KeraCare Curling Wax smooth or calm through. Again, be sure to use only a minimal amount to avoid a waxy build-up.
While KeraCare Curling Wax was created for and mostly used by African-Americans, it can be used for all ethnics. It works especially well on thick, coarse hair leaving it soft and manageable.
In addition to KeraCare Curling Wax's great styling ability, it is an excellent moisturizer that will condition your hair leaving it soft and manageable. It also comes with an affordable price. A jar of KeraCare Curling Wax usually costs about $10-15 for a large jar.
KeraCare Curling Wax is great, salon quality product, without having to pay the salon price! It leaves your hair looking like it was styled at the salon by a stylist for a fraction of the cost and best of all, you can do it at home.
