Production Preview of Jurassic Park 4 - The Dinosaurs Are Back!

The Jurassic Park series is definitely among one of the top movie series in the history of movies, especially if you are an action buff, but how far can these directors go with these movies? After all, Jurassic Park 2 went downhill from the first one, and most of all the third one, which went even further downhill. We would seriously have to hope that Michael Crichton, and writers William Monahan and John Sayles to work on something that could potentially be just as good, if not better than the first Jurassic Park, but after all, the first one was actually directed by Steven Spielberg, as was the second one (which surprises me a lot). Getting back on topic with the forth installment of the Jurassic Park movie series, there have been many leaks to what this movie will basically be about(not including the dinosaur part), but it definitely seems interesting. Read on to find out more!

Kathleen Kennedy, who is a producer of the Jurassic Park movies, let a team of writers who work for Sci Fi Wire, which is the news service for the Sci Fi Channel, and she told them that the movie has gone through its first draft, which was written by William Monahan. As we have seen throughout the last three movies, it has been very jungle like, and there have been many areas where water was dominant, that will not be the case in the forth movie. Every movie, especially if it's been through years and years worth of work, deserves a new twist, and usually when we hear this type of information, we tend to believe that it's all just hype to get us to drool some more over what the movie can really be like, but the directors and writers really mean business this time, and they guarantee that this movie will be nothing like the others. Great!!

Now that we know a little bit more about what might happen in the forth installment of Jurassic Park, we now have to know, whether or not Sam Neill aka Dr. Alan Grant is going to return or not. Well, it was definitely a relief to know, back in 2003, that he confirmed to Spielberg and other writers and directors\producers that he was going to reprise his role as the famous paleontologist, but seeing that it was around four years ago, it can't be official, so recently this year it was confirmed that Neill wasn't absolutely certain of whether or not he was going to return in the forth movie. It was also reported that the original director, Joe Johnston, who was assisted by Spielberg in the third series, was also not going to be returning to direct Jurassic Park 4. Now, I know what you all are thinking, "WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING?" But it could actually be a good thing after all, they do want to bring the movie in a different direction, and that's what they are doing.

Since the movie hasn't really began true production yet, I would hold off the whole Dr. Alan Grant thing, because it would really be a shock to not have him starring or at least playing a minor role once again in the forth Jurassic Park film. It's obvious that they would want to start a huge commotion involving the main character throughout all of the movies not returning, but I still don't completely believe that. I do however believe that the movie is going to be completely different than all of the others, and it's more than fifty percent possible that there could be another main character, other than Dr. Alan Grant in the forth installment. But even if that is the case, I would still be shocked if Neill didn't make at least a small appearance in Jurassic Park 4. We will just have to wait and see!

Yeah, definitely Mr. Enriquez. It's going to be great. I was such a fan of the other movies, that this one has to be a great one to boot. Hopefully we aren't disappointed
