Babies who are breast fed tend to have less colic because breast milk is easier to digest as compared to formula. However, some breast fed babies still end up with colic. This is commonly seen if the mother is eating something that the baby is sensitive too. Some times milk or soy products can make their way through the breast milk and affect the baby. It may be beneficial for the mother to modify her diet, at least for the first few months of the baby's life.
Fortunately there are many products on the market made to help with colic.

It is the good bacteria, which helps to keep us healthy, and 75% or more of the immune system is actually located in the digestive tract. The bacteria L. reuteri has been shown to eliminate or at least ease tummy pain in infants.
