I bought Sergeant's medicated dog shampoo because my little dog ended up with fleas. Sergeant's is a non-irritating, soap free formula shampoo that helps with fleas, as well as relieves dry, itching and flaking skin problems in dogs. Its ingredients include tea tree oil, salicylic acid, and a few more for a combination of a great product. The shampoo helps remove excess oil in a dogs skin while giving them a welcome relief against itching, and helps kill fleas and their eggs in the process. The bottle is very large, 18 fluid ounces, so it will last many shampoos. The smell is pleasant, not bad like alot of other medicated products, and also rinses out of the fur with ease. I will continue using Sergeant's animal products as they work very well.

She was scratching herself badly, so I looked for something with hydrocortisone in it, as I had heard that is a good thing for hot spots. It helps heal skin irritations from insect bites, minor cuts, and just general itchiness. It is cooling and soothing to the skin and does not sting or cause any additional discomfort for the animal. I also includes aloe vera gel, which is a great help to relieve dryness. After using Pro-Pet's Itch Relief for about 3 days, 2-3 times a day, my dogs condition vastly improved. she stopped scratching, and the skin where she had scratched began to heal. For the small price I paid at Petsmart for this product, it was definitely worth. Today, my dog is healthy and happy.

An excellent product to have if your dog or cats develop fleas, or even for the prevention of. Hartz flea and tick shampoo is safe to use, and effective in getting rid of fleas, ticks, and their eggs. I bought this shampoo for my dog, who had developed a bad case of fleas, and you seemed to be very allergic to the bites. She had developed quite sensitive skin, and she needed something soothing to give her relief. After one application, she began to show signs of improvement. It kills fleas immediately, and ticks within a couple days. It seemed to feel good on her skin, and even conditioned her hair a bit. The only thing I did not like about this dog shampoo is that it warns that it is harmful if inhaled, a little hard to avoid when you have the animal in a lather. Other than that, I was quite pleased with the immediate results. This flea and tick shampoo is safe to use once a week or more. I was impressed with it!

The dosage for animals is one teaspoon per pound of body weight, so its actually quite easy to get the dosage hidden into your dogs food to get them to take it. There is not a strong smell with this product, another good reason to purchase it. The price is reasonable, and you get a pretty reasonable amount in case you have to repeat a dosage, a 4 fluid ounce bottle. However, I didn't have to repeat, since the first dose was quite effective. A great product to have handy if your animal needs wormed.
