Admission: $10 per car, $20 per limo, $45 per motor coach, or vehicle larger than 15 passenger. You can also view the lights riding in a horse drawn carriage. Cost for this ride is $15 half trip per person, $10 per child under 10, and children under 2 are free, if sitting on a lap. You can also get a combo ticket, which includes a tour of Norfolk Botanical Garden of Lights for $15.
Norfolk Botanical Garden of Lights, 6700 Azalea Garden rd, will open their gates beginning November 27th- December 31st, and will be open nightly 5:30pm-10pm.
Admission: $10 (cash) at the door. You can get a special volume discount, $7 per ticket when you purchase 10 or more. This offer expires November 26th. Multi-passenger vehicle $25, motor coach ( advance reservations only ) $125. You can also make reservations for a special holiday tram ride, which will run Tuesdays only, Dec 2,9,16,23 and 30th at 7pm. Reservations are required, and cost is $5 per person. Coupons are valid Monday- Thursday only. Wait times for this event are 5-15 minutes weekdays and 30-45 minutes Fridays, Saturday, and December 24th. Reservations can be made by calling (757) 441-5830 x 320.
The Celebration of Lights in Newport News, will be on display, November 27-January 1st, 5:30pm-10pm. There you can enjoy a two mile drive through animated themes made up with over 700,000 lights. Located at Newport News park, the entrance to this display, starts at the intersection of Fort Eustis Blvd and Jefferson Ave.

Hampton Virginia, Carousel Park, will host an event on December 6th, 6pm-9pm There you will enjoy live entertainment, arts, crafts, horse and carriage rides and winter treats. which will end with a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks. Located at 700 Settlers Landing Road, you can also enjoy for free, the joy and warmth of the holidays as you view the Parade of Sail, featuring more than 40 boats as they pass along the Hampton waterfront. Last but not least, If you want an indoor holiday event to enjoy, you will want to visit the Court House Galleries ( corners of High st and Court st.) , in Portsmouth Va. Here they house the famous Colemans Winter Wonderland Collection, where you can enjoy your favorite animated figures. From November 21- Dec 31,their hours of operation are: Tuesday- Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-9pm, Sundays 12pm-8pm and Christmas Eve and New Years Eve 10pm-5pm.They will be closed Thanksgiving.
Admission: $2 adults, $1 children (2yrs-17 yrs). Group reservations can be made by calling (757) 393-9983.
