Professional Repair Company Snaps Picture of Cluttered Home Then Posts on Facebook
No One Has the Right to Invade Someone's Privacy This Way
An actual picture that I found posted on Facebook by a professional company whose name I will not identify so that I do not hurt their reputation inspired this article. The picture is of someone's home they entered to do repairs and the home had items stored that made the home look cluttered. This particular company decided to post the picture on Facebook. I'm not sure whom the home belonged to but if I knew, I would definitely tell them it was on Facebook.
What is this world coming to when a homeowner pays someone to come into their home to make repairs only to have the company post pictures of their home because they don't like what it looks like? This is misconduct on the part of that business and they should be ashamed of themselves and their attitude toward the public and the people they serve. What kind of person does this to someone? The type of person who would do this are ones who look down on others and ones who could care less who they offend and disrespect. The company owner that posted the picture on Facebook of the home he had repaired sounds like someone who should not be in business. Also the person that posted this picture on Facebook needs to clean up his backyard before looking in someone else's.
What someone has in their home is theirs it is not for someone to make fun of and post pictures on Facebook. People collect things over the years that they do not want to part with and therefore it gets stored in the home if they have no place else to store their belongings. The belongings may have been from loved ones. No one has the right to judge how someone lives or what him or her store in his or her own home.
The business was there to make a repair not look around at what the customer had stored in his or her home. They were there to do a job and leave not snap pictures to post on Facebook for people to make fun. Which by the way this picture on Facebook did receive comments and those that made fun of it are just as disrespectful as the person who posted the picture.
The old saying goes that a home isn't a home if it doesn't look lived in. So for people to judge, make fun of and then post pictures online is just wrong on so many levels. It seems to me that people who do this sort of thing have no life and look down on others because of what they don't have.
For those of you that do this type of thing to others just remember that one day you could lose everything you own and be living in a ditch somewhere. No ones guaranteed tomorrow and no ones guaranteed they would not lose everything they own in a blink of an eye. Therefore, my advice for people or businesses that make fun of peoples homes and what they have, keep in mind tomorrow you could lose it all.
