A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Kathy Liebert has been playing poker professionally since 1991 and has been playing in poker tournaments since 1994. She worked in corporate America before quitting the corporate lifestyle and moving on to the world of poker - a world full of excitement, sometimes glamour and more while still allowing Kathy Liebert to use the critical and mathematical mind set she cultivated at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

A resident of Las Vegas, N.V. and Downey, CA, Kathy Liebert won her first tournament in 2002 at the Party Poker Million event. This was the first poker tournament with a $1 million pot. Kathy Liebert has gone on to win other tournaments and contest since that time and has established herself as a poker phenomenon. Kathy Liebert has won a World Series of Poker tournament bracelet and has accrued more than $2 million in winnings.
