Profiles and Avatars that Are Admired from Around the World

Jenny Heart
Writers from all over this world put their profile or Avatar faces on their work to show who's behind their work. Profile photos should be a positive step for further recognition. There are some readers who want to talk, date, bully, flirt, or scare the person behind theirs profile, or Avatar photos.

There are writers who decide on choosing a flower or a beautiful sunset for their profile picture. This is an option for many who want their faces to remain anonymous.

I have been stalked out by other writers who have joined a few of the sites I belong to. I'll discuss this in the paragraphs below. Other stalkers seem to be searching for mates and have approached me.

Face book is a great social networking site. I've had a few flirtish emails saying they were attracted by my profile picture and wanted to get to know me better. If this person would have looked he would have seen that I'm marred on my information section.

One site in particular had me thinking about quitting. I want to stay writing for this site. I have blocked the users who keep sending me,' hi dear messages,] like," I want to find a partner," like messages. Many writers are great and are just friendly but over half of my friend request have been trying to find a mate. I've heard that many other writers have gotten the same type of messages on their message section from this site.

I'm started to think I should go back to using flowers and other nice pictures instead of my actual picture of myself. Writers have been told that by placing a picture of themselves this will help their articles look more professional.

Most of the time I enjoy meeting new faces. Shannon Farlouis writes on Triond, Bukisa, Associated Content and Xomba. I've known her for around two years, but never saw her face. Then, one day I joined MyYearbook.com and so did she. I talked her into putting up a picture of herself. She never used one since I've known her. It wasn't long before I grew to appreciate this fine writer even more. She has and still is helping me through some deep hearted family problems. Her face always makes me feel like I'm talking to my best friend.

I also have a friend Chan Lee Peng who can't place his picture on his writing sites due to his job. I've learned how to picture a person just by their kind heart. I don't need to see his face to know the kind of person that he is. I know by his articles and our chats that he wants to help all people young and old. I'm proud and glad he's my friend.

I've given several reasons why I like face profile pictures and why I don't. I want to help my writing, but lately have been tempted to change it back to a less threatening profile picture. Can all my commenters give me there opinion on this matter? I'm happy to have met you all whether you profile is an actual profile with a face, flower, or any other picture on it.

I want to thank you all in advance for your kind hearted spirited personalities that have graced your readers. They speak loud and clear about your personalities. I'm glad I can put faces behind all your great articles, poetry, slideshows, or audios. Other profile options still leave a lasting impression. Don't ever forget your unique and one of a kind, and I'm proud to know each and every one of you.

I've never had any problems with Triond, Bukisa, Associated Content, Wikinut, and Infobarrel. That must mean these sites have great spirited and kind hearted writers that would never stalk known or unknown friends. I never fear from any of you, because you're all the best.

You are so right about being able to tell a person by their kind heart. I do prefer to see what a person looks like, but respect the reasons why people use other images. Nice work Jenny.

Very good article, and the same happens with me on some sites, so you're really kind and honest to talk openly about it.

I only use my real photo on AC because I'm a Featured Contributor. Otherwise, I'd go back to a flower or one of my cats. All other websites, I use a different avatar, not pictures of me.
