I'm not very religious but do take the time to regularly visit an infant Jesus church very close to where I stay. I must confess I am so often drawn to visit this church not from the intention to pray but from the feeling of calmness, relaxation and a state of surrender. It was after a number of such experiences that the thought of wanting to understand the reasons behind this kept cropping up in my mind. I then set out to experience and understand these feelings in different surroundings.
A visit to the cemetery: The emotion was not of fear, it was the sense of sadness, depression, disappointment and sadness just seeming to be ever-present.
A hospital: A feeling of depression and anxiety.
Different rooms at home, gave different sensations, ranging from oddly tired to cheerfulness to a sense of frustration and struggle
On further research on the subject, it was of great interest to note the sensations that people had experienced and recorded.
Sensations and emotions of violence, anger in historic battle fields.
Eerie sensations of severe depression, pain and fright where unnatural deaths like suicides or tragic accidents had occurred.
Feelings or sensations of being charged up, or one of heightened energy in some discussion or convention rooms.
In other words a strong argument or a fight projects the emotion of hate and antagonism in surroundings. So does the emotions of sadness, depression and fear in areas related to tragic events. Similarly religious places seem to be filled with these recorded emotions and thoughts of calmness and relaxation.
They also seem to have some inter-relation with weather and the basic elements of nature. The negative sensations for example are stronger when connected to cold and rainy weather as well as with the element of water.
We have the ability of sensing these emotional recordings as well the potential to develop them. Most animals seem to have this ability developed. We so often encounter the strange behavior of our pets in certain rooms or areas that we live in.
This then took me into the subject of our understanding of thoughts and consciousness.
How are we manifesting and projecting these emotional thought patterns? What really happens to them?
The deeper I go the more complex it gets.
For now this is what I seem to have been convinced on.
They do continue to exist in a different dimension, one in which time and space have no meaning.
Thoughts and emotions seem to jump or be absorbed by us sometimes together. So often we come across a person who has the same idea or emotion that you do.
Our thoughts are an integral part of what forms our consciousness and Life itself is a manifestation of consciousness.
Further, in a way I even tend to agree with what Carl Jung called the collective unconscious, that we are all linked. There is no space time in consciousness and the separateness we feel from people is an illusion.
