Well up but try to blink them away
Going thru the mind all the whys
Wondering what it is that I should say......
Trying to figure out peace in my heart
No "goodnights" so a restless night of sleep
Working on things that aren't as fun when apart
All the hurtful feelings I keep in my heart so deep......
No one sees the tears
No one sees the anger
No one sees the fears
No one sees this stranger.......
All bottled up inside like a boiling pot
Water seeps but no one will see
Keep working thru and finish what was sought
Finishing the project fills my heart with glee......
My disappointment dwindles from the raging fire
Instead my heart opens up with smile
Pray to God that it all works out as the desire
I am ready to start the next project and go the extra mile.......
