Since we live in the Southwest, Mexican food is very popular at catered events. Below are 4 restaurants that cater Mexican food:
1). Casa Molina is located at: 6225 E. Speedway Blvd.; telephone number: 520-886-5468. Their catering also includes the heating chaffing dishes, serving utensils, buffet table, tablecloth, plates, utensils and napkins. Their $30.00 delivery fee includes set up and pick up. For an extra 15% service charge they will stay and serve your party. They have been family owned in Tucson for many years and I personally recommend them as I have eaten there plenty of times with never any regrets. 2) El Parador is a fun Mexican restaurant located at: 2744 E. Broadway Blvd.; telephone number: 520-881-2744. They offer several menu types such as Traditional Mexican Buffets and Sonoran Style Buffets. Their menu prices are $21.00-$27.00 per person which include 7 food items, tea, coffee and a soft drink. Tax and tips are also included in the price. They also offer a Coronado Buffet for $13.00 per person with tax and delivery charges extra. Their menu choices range from platters which serve 17-20 people ranging from $25.00-$45.00; one item entrees for $12.95 per person; four miniature item entrees for $14.95 per person; three item entrees for $18.95 per person; and full buffets range from $16.95-$24.95 per person. 4). El Charro is another popular Mexican restaurant in Tucson. I have only eaten there once but I always see a large crowd at their locations. Their full service catering requires a 50 person minimum which includes heating chaffing dishes, table linens and Mexican décor, They charge an additional 8.1% tax and 10% service charge to their menus for catering. They provide a $35.00 delivery and pick up service with a $500.00 minimal purchase. If needed, they also charge a $1.00-$3.00 set up fee per person and they provide servers for an additional fee. If you need bar and/or beverage services they will provide them - with the server/bartender too, for additional fees. They have 4 convenient locations in Tucson:

Swan Road; telephone number: 520-299-4301.They will cater foods on their menu and also not typical Italian foods that aren't on their menu, including a heart healthy menu. 3). Fortunato's Italian Deli & Catering is located at 9100 E. Tanque Verde Road: telephone number: 520-795-3354. If you want simple but delicious Italian catering I personally recommend Fortunato's as their food is absolutely delicious and either homemade or imported including Boar's Head meats and cheeses. They offer large party sub menus, hot menus, cold menus and hot/cold combo menus ranging in price from $3.95-$12.95 per person. Tray of hot and cold items serving large groups of people range in price from $27.50-$99.97. Their party subs are priced by the foot. They even off Italian desserts such as: cheesecake, Italian cookies, Italian pastries and connolis priced by cake, tray and the connolis are individually priced. Since I'm Italian as I write this I wish I had some so badly right now. Ha! They charge $0.25 extra per person for plates utensils and napkins. Tax and delivery charges are extra. Cantonese & Szechuan: I've never been to an event where Chinese, Cantonese and/or Szechuan food was catered but that might be interesting and different.

Greek food catered might be interesting, fun and different too. Fronimo's Greek Café is located at: 3242 E. Speedway Blvd.; telephone number: 520-327-8321. Their catering services include full service delivery, setup, serving and cleaning up. They provide the chaffing heating dishes and platters, which you can also pick up and then return the next day, if you choose to do so yourself. All their services are included in their prices. Barbeque: If you want some very reasonably priced, down-to-earth barbeque catering there's Bar-BQ-Ranch. Their telephone numbers are: 520-323-3118 and 520-204-0134 (cell). They have 3 menus ranging from $5.95-$12.95 per person; cookies are $0.50 per person and fruit cobblers from $10.00-$20.00. They also offer a child's menu for $2.50 per child with a 50 child minimum.
