Maybe you live in Nashville or a surrounding city, or you could just be visiting grandma and want to buy your dress in Nashville to avoid the "same dress syndrome." Shopping for prom can be a highly stressful time for a girl, there are some of us that have it down, we know what we are looking for and can get in and out in an hour. 1. Opry Mills Mall- Opry Mills Mall is a mall located in Nashville. If you are looking for a simple, not too much, not highly over done or over the top prom dress this is where to be. Also, if you are looking for something inexpensive here you can find great choices. With the trendy shops such as Wet Seal, Charlotte Ruse, rue21 and Forever21 you are sure to find a hot dress for less. If you are looking for something with a bit more jazz Saks Fifth Avenue is also located in the Opry Mills mall. Opry Mills is located on the Opryland grounds between Two Rivers Parkway and McGavock Pike and borders the Cumberland River. Opry Mills is within walking distance from the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and next door to the Grand Ole Opry. The site is approximately seven miles from downtown Nashville. Mall hours are Monday thru Friday 10 am to 9:30 pm and Sunday 11 am to 7 pm.

2. Dillards. The Dillards located inside the Rivergate Mall has many prom dresses to choose from. Dillards is also offering specials on their prom dresses this season. Dillards has a variety of dresses to choose from ranging in price from $79 to $259. There are also special markdown dresses that are beautiful and starting at just $20. All dresses at Dillards range in size from XS to XL.

3. Cache' is a gorgeous boutique store located on Abbot Martin Road in Nashville. This hot spot prom shop has a wide variety of prom dresses to choose from. From trendy to elegant, sexy, flirty, fun, formal, big & fluffy what ever your pleasure Cache' has got the look. Dresses are available in sizes from 2 to 12 and range in price from $149 to $418. Cache' is open 10am to 9pm Monday thru Saturday and Sunday 11am to 6pm.

4. Rivergate Mall has the latest in the fashion trends. With its four major stores Dillards, JC Penny, Sears and Macy's and 150+ other retailers there is no way you won't find the dress of your dreams here. Rivergate Mall is open Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday 12 pm to 6 pm. Located on Rivergate Pkwy just ten miles from downtown Nashville this is the hottest place north of the capitol. Rivergate mall will be holding a Prom Fashion Show, March 14, 2009 at 2 pm in the malls center court. They will be showing the latest in prom fashion from Dillards, Sears, Deb, MW tux, and Vivace.

5. Last but not least, if you are looking for a store to satisfy your plus size needs Dress 2 Impress is a great place to go, with a wide array of formal wear and accessories for prom. Dress 2 Impress is open Monday thru Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and closed on Sunday. With dresses starting at $89 this is sure to wow you!
