Prom Restaurants in the Woodlands, Texas

The big night is near. You have rented your tux, reserved the limo, and of course, the date of your dreams said yes. Now, you get to plan where you are going to take her for prom dinner. You may be tempted to drive into near-by Houston, but spending a precious two hours of my the night in traffic does not sound like fun. Be careful not disregard the local fare. Market Street, conveniently located in the heart of The Woodlands, offers plenty of retail stores by also boasts the area's finest dining experiences. Fountains and landscaping serve as a beautiful background for your prom snapshots. Your ideal prom restaurant is at Market Street, located at 9595 Six Pines in The Woodlands, Texas.

Tommy Bahama - For a little island flavor, make your reservations at this restaurant located by the Market Street fountains. Dine on the patio and enjoy the Little Cayman Lollipops for starters, savory Barbecued Chicken Wings. Highly recommended for your entree are Tommy's Rib Rack served with blackberry brand barbecue sauce or the Island Cowboy, an eight-ounce tenderloin fillet served with lemon garlic asparagus and roasted fingerling potatoes. Wrap up your island adventure with a piece of Pina Colada cake or a savory slice of Key Lime Pie.

Jasper's - Opposite the common area from Tommy Bahama is a restaurant that captures the outdoors in the most elegant fashion. Named by Esquire magazine as one of the Top 20 New Restaurants in America, Jasper's Maytag Bleu Cheese Potato Chips are alone worth the trip. For dinner, Jasper's offers a wide array of entree choices such as Pan Seared Salmon, Texas Peach BBQ Pork Tenderloin or a Hickory Grilled Flat Iron Steak. Sample their Creamy Baked Potato salad or Bourbon Creamed Corn to accompany your meal. Jasper's weekend hours are from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Uni Sushi - Romantically-lit chandeliers and an elegant yet modern feel embrace you as you dine at Uni Sushi. This restaurant offers a fine sushi bar selection, including their acclaimed "Millennium" roll. Rib-eyes, lobster tail and steamed snapper are a few of the non-sushi options they offer, if your date has yet to embrace the popular fare. Uni Sushi's weekend hours are from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
