Proof Obama Counterterrorism Aide John Brennan Doesn't Know What He's Doing!

Marc Schenker
Proof has surfaced that Obama Counterterrorism Aide John Brennan doesn't know what he's doing! And ironically enough, this time the proof has incriminatingly flowed out of Brennan's own gauche mouth when he appeared on Fox News Sunday just a couple of days ago. Maybe a part of this state of being clueless stems from the fact that Brennan is such a committed liberal that he doesn't even acknowledge we're in the midst of a war on terror (as I exposed in an earlier column), or else...then he's just simply too ideologically blinded to submit to reality. Any way you cut it, John Brennan just doesn't know what he's doing, and if you doubt this, watch his Fox News Sunday appearance:

Ergo, FNC was all over Brennan's very suspicious-to-the-point-of-ignorance comments that they spent a portion of their broadcast day actively analyzing and skewering said comments. When I was watching Special Report, Brit Hume had a commentary/analysis where he almost had somewhat of a conniption-with good reason-at the utter naivety/gullibility/absurdity of Brennan's Fox News Sunday comments in the Abdulmuttalab case.

According to Hume, Brennan sidestepped Fox News Sunday Chris Wallace's question about the downside of not treating the Terrorist Abdulmutallab as an enemy combatant, then shockingly even denied there were any downsides or upsides to doing so! Now for anyone who's not drunk on the radical liberal kool-aid, they know precisely that the irrefutable downside of approaching terrorists like Abdulmutallab in a criminal manner means they get a lawyer, clam up, and refuse to talk to you, which is what Abdulmutallab has already done thanks to Obama and Brennan!

Not content to let Hume do all the hammering on Brennan, former speaker Newt Gingrich joined the rightful pile-on on Brennan when he appeared on the O'Reilly Factor. Gingrich's problem with Brennan was his stunningly deluded denial of a smoking gun in the Abdulmutallab incident. Huh? W-w-w-what??! No smoking gun, says Brennan! As Gingrich pointed out in his appearance, what the heck does Brennan call the whole alerting of the American embassy by the terrorist's father and his name's appearance on watch-lists??!! Good God! Just as properly, Gingrich points out that the US has no obligation to admit anyone entry and that the burden of proof should be on the people vying to enter the US in the first place.

All told, the gist of Hume's and Gingrich's unhappiness with Obama Counterterrorism aide John Brennan's discreditable comments is that Brennan is living in a make-believe, fairy tale world of his own, liberal making instead of focusing on realistically preventing terror attacks domestically. That is why Brennan doesn't acknowledge that we're still on a War on Terror:

That is why Brennan claims there's no smoking gun in the Abdulmutallab case and allows him even legal representation-which also means that in order to get Abdulmutallab to talk now, the US will even have to strike a plea deal with him when classifying him as an enemy combatant would've already required him to talk! That is why Brennan doesn't know what he's doing.
