Pros and Cons of Using the General Store in the Random Rotation on "My Vineyard" Game for Getting Visitors
One Way to Use the General Store for Other Than Selling
There are pros and cons of using the General Store for just getting visitors to your vineyard on "My Vineyard." Today, I am going to explore some of these pros and cons for using this selling point of the game.
Pros of using the General Store for gaining visitors only.
An effective way to get different people to visit your vineyard for a six hour period. In six hours, several people can visit your game to help finish anything you are in need of help with. Once items are completed, like vines have finished growing, harvest and plant new ones for your next groups of visitors. This allows visitors and yourself to maximize coins for the game.
Getting players to your game to taste wines, fertilize vines, build the different types of buildings. Not only does this help the player posting their store, it helps players earn coins by doing all these activities on each vineyard.
Not having to post to every Facebook group or in the forum to try to get visitors to your game. This activity can take time to do when there are so many groups available to post in on Facebook. There are also several sections on the forum for the game that takes time to post to.
The player does not have to try to get neighbors by posting on their Facebook wall, groups or in the forum. It is far easier to visit random stores in "My Vineyard" than it is to keep up with neighbors to gain coins.
A quick way to visit other players game without having to visit all the "My Vineyard" groups, the forum, and neighbors games. Since you will not have to close out each vineyard after visiting any of the groups or forum sections, you can just click on the shopping bag and the random vineyard button to move on to the next store.
A way to find new players in the game to help them with their builds, wines, and vines. I have found a few new players in the game this way.
TIP: If you do not have a General Store, you can click on the shopping bag to visit any of the stores in the list.
Cons of using the General Store for gaining visitors only.
Using five wine cash to keep your store in the store list for six hours at a time. This can become expensive if you are buying wine cash just to do this.
Not harvesting vines when finished. This causes no fertilizing of new vines by visitors. This is especially true of vines no longer in the marketplace to use. This is a loss of coins for you. This is also a way to not be able to earn extra wine cash for perfect barrels.
Not selling wine barrels once they have finished aging. If your store makes its way in front of a person more than once, they are unable to taste new wines in the barrels. A full load, depending on what level you are on, can cause a slow load of your yard. The same goes for having too many butterflies on your yard too.
Not selling items to visitors rather than deleting them. Many players will visit random yards to see what another has for sale. In many cases if an item is out of rotation in the marketplace, it can be sold for a high coin or wine cash for those looking for these items. This is a loss in coins and wine cash for the vineyard in the General Store random rotation.
