Prospecting and Recruiting - the 3 Stages of Development

Nick Lang
Combine a good marketing system (i.e. www.RejectionFreeMarketing.com) with a refusal to quit, and you might see stage 3!

Each new person that joins a mlm company will experience three different stages of development in their business career. Most quit before they ever make the second stage. Make it to the third stage and you might not ever have to worry about money again!

Stage 1: This is the stage where you are still fired up and motivated from starting your new project. You are doing everything that your sponsor and other team members tell you. You find yourself spending a lot of time and effort (and maybe even a lot of money), and suddenly realize how little you seem to be making in return. In fact, you cannot believe how much effort you are putting in and getting almost nothing in return. Stage 1 might last a few weeks and it might last several years. Do not get frustrated. Do not quit. Know that everyone that ever made it big in mlm had to make it through this stage.

Stage 2: This is when you start getting checks on a consistent basis. Some checks might even have a comma from time to time. Things are starting to get exciting. Do not become complacent at this point. You are on the verge of making it big. You are also on the verge of having your business dwindle down to nothing if you do not continually build and motivate your team. Never stop recruiting. Double your efforts and push through to make it to the next stage.

Stage 3: This is the stage we all dream of. This is where your business takes on a life of its own and will continue to grow with or without your daily involvement. This is where you might see commission checks come in from a months or weeks worth of sales volume that could possibly exceed the annual income from your previous line of work. This is the stage where you have enough cash flow to do all the things you ever dreamed of doing as a child. You can travel anywhere in the world and pay cash without feeling guilty. You can eat at any restaurant without having to even look at the right hand column. You can drive whatever vehicle you want and buy whatever clothing or jewelry you want without having to look at the price tag. You can send your children or grandchildren to any college they want. You can pay off all of your debt. You can start to really give back by donating to charitable organizations of your choice. You can have control over your life by having true time freedom. What would you really do with your life once you had all of the time and money that you ever wanted or needed?

Hang in their and never give up on the dream of making it to stage 3!
