Prostitution in Mexico

More Acceptable Here

pvchina
Prostitution is one of the oldest services provided world wide. Yet today we still have very mixed feelings when it comes this profession. Does it exist in the US and Canada, of coarse, I feel the difference is the acceptance of it in Mexico.

I admit my level of acceptance has changed considerably, since I moved here years ago.

In most major areas of Mexico there is the Red Zone, An area just on the outskirt's of town where one can find any number of interesting pleasures. These are not advertised areas, nevertheless they are part and parcel of the general attitude.

I am strongly against child prostitution, on the other hand if an adult is in the sex trade business I am not offended.

As human beings we have both physical and emotional needs, when someone wishes to pay to ensure his or her needs are met, I feel it is their business.

I do however feel some regulation should be in place to ensure safety of both the client and the sex trade provider.

Yes, I have heard the argument, you should only have sex with your spouse, please, we are adults.

While talking the other day with a few people about this subject, one person summed it up nicely.

You do not pay a whore for sex, you pay her to go away. In other words, to fill the physical, not the emotionally.

He is a good father, a good provider, a good husband, who treats you kindly, always has a warm smile, a soft hand, but occasionally wishes to visit the Red Zone. His needs he keeps to himself, out of respect for you. Personally I just don't want to know about it, I know a good many women who feel the same.

What about the older single women living here in Mexico, she has needs, a younger lover will emotional and financially drain her, but a few pesos on a Friday night her needs are taken care of. She understands the cost of the service. No need to buy a rolax or a new car, much cheaper in the long run.

A one night stand can get very costly, both financially and emotionally, a trip to the red zone takes care of the problem. The cost of service is very clear, so it becomes a personal choice.

My choice, no to prostitution, but let me assure you I indeed have gone to bed hungry. Its the price you pay.

I decided to get out of the rat race, find some more peaceful way to live my life. For the pass 10 years I have called Puerto Vallarta home. Bussiness lunches are often tacos in the street or a margarita...  View profile

cool article. Prostitution being illegal is a bit silly but how many laws are. In New Orleans in the good ole days things were illegal like everywhere but so what was the thought; and all was well.

if the government can screw people for a living, why can't prostitutes? XD i think it's a personal choice and they have the freedom to do what they want..i certainly don't support it but at the same time i don't condemn it. just my 2 cents.
