Protected to Death

What shall we say when history asks how such crimes came to be committed in the name " In The 'best interest' of OUR Children"? Will we say that we stood silently by, shrugging our shoulders, filling our bellies, closing our eyes? Or will we be able to say: We saw. We dissented. We resisted. We condemned. For all those who want to open their eyes to the horrors of the illegal kidnapping our children , and to the brutality, social injustice and moral corruption of the Child Protective Services . Go, see, open your eyes, and let them know these torturers, these bloodstained betrayers of our common humanity, let them know that you know what they are, what they have done.~My Poem~Dear Mommy and Daddy,
Today when I came home from school I learned that you had gone to jail,
I was forced into a car by a scary dark haired smelly male,
nothing was explained to me as I sat there still and cried,
I just wanted to open the door to run away and hide,
we arrived at a house with a white picket fence and a dog house in the back,
when I went inside they striped my clothes and put them in a sack,
from there I went to shower and then straight upstairs to bed,
remembering all the comforting things that you both had often said.
In the next few days that followed I have nothing good to say,
I wasn't allowed to use the phone, walk outside or even play,
instead I was touched and beaten until all of me turned black and blue,
I was spit on and called names and did everything I was told to do,
several days went by and never once did anybody check,
or else they would have noticed all these rope burns around my neck,
and maybe then I could have went back home to my mommy and my dad,
instead of living in so much fear from these people who are always so mad.
Couple months had come and gone and I had forgotten how to smile,
my tummy growling constantly because I hadn't ate for a while,
I opened up my bedroom door and walked down to where they were,
and everything that happened at that moment was such a blur.
I think the first thing he did was slam my head into the floor,
after he hit me with his fist two times I couldn't feel much anymore,
the lady stood and watched nearby with her hands firm on her hips,
she wore a pair of blue jeans and her shirt matched the color of her lips,
they blamed me for ruining their once happy lives and eating all the food,
they said that it was all my fault that they were always in a bad mood,
after he was done he yelled for me to go up and go to bed,and that was the first time I disobeyed, I had no choice I lay there dead.

I know that this poem seems a bit dark and depressing, but these kinds of things go on all the time, in the fancy neighborhoods, poor neighborhoods, and sometimes even in our own back yard. And are you aware of this cruel act taking place, are you standing by hoping that this child will be ok? Do something, let these sick people know that this is not right, and will be stopped. This site has 284 stories to tell, each one so sad and may have easily been prevented.
Letter from a former foster kid: Foster care Kills. "Could you imagine a world where your alone getting molested, abused, drugged, used for aids drug testing?. Losing all your dignity self esteem confidence in the process? Nobody cares, and you just have to wonder around in the dark and pray your luck is better then most? Or you end up dead and no one knows or cares? Welcome to foster care.This is how most of us end up if we are not sold to a nice home. People in foster care don't get happy endings. Just a big huge hole where their life was. We asked the Government to stop abusing us. They threw some of us in jail. Sounds far fetched don't it? We have peoples bail papers etc. Specifically ordering us to shut down our websites or just to stop posting.

Who am I? My name is Jessie Mcvicar and I was in foster care from the ages of 9 to 18 from 13-18 I mostly lived on the streets or in a youth jail for running away etc. I lived outside for the majority of my life as a result of my running away and hiding from hell homes and lying people who said they were there to help then left me with freaks! Where I was abused, molested and much worse. Sadly I have heard stories worse then my own. Not everyone is willing to fight back at the age of 9. I was, and did, took 3-4 trained staff to restrain me. But I was younger and if you think I was nuts, you should have lived where I did, and been forced to share rooms with these people. I did. And I have never been the same since. My group home even sent me home with a pedophile and his family for Christmas one year. As soon as another kid told me their is another option, and he showed me, I never looked back".

The fact that children live like this everyday and when we grow up and try to tell the proper people , we find out the proper people are the ones allowing this in the first place. And they throw us in jail and such? Well we are doing this column for one reason. Government won't take responsibility won't fix it's broken family killer? And introduces laws that discriminate against people because their getting tired of being asked for spare change??? Are those kinds of mind sets that said blacks should sleep out in the shed? The opinion of the many discriminating against the few. They have quietly turned being homeless and poor a crime. Punishment by fines, jail time and loss of children. The Government is so cheap they fired all their social workers and hired these people with no training to help people. When you talk to most of these people they are disgusted that they even have to talk to you. And want to have as little to do with you as they like. Or these untrained professionals forget to mail checks and people end up homeless, and the Government says nothing.

Families get nothing no support and nothing to live off of and then foster care comes along and takes their children for being poor and having nothing. And then usually the youngest are taken and they try to sell them and call it adoption meanwhile these jerks are making $250 000 a year And the organization gets almost unlimited funding and is accountable for only providing receipts for erasers and office material. Over 30% of foster kids are living out side on the streets at any given time. 15% are being abused. 15% should not be in care in the first place. That's over half of 80,000 kids living a horrible nightmare they can't escape. Nor will the government or the people of Canada let them escape. Parents don't get a real court date they don't get a real lawyer. They get no support no help nothing. And if the children are gone out of your home you lose cash for them usually resulting in loss of homes property ability to house their child should they return. Public housing say their is a three year waiting list, but if your a single parent and it's an emergency then you become next on the list.

Meanwhile foster care is telling you if you have a place you can have your child back. If you sign into a shelter you will not get your kid(s) back. And your forced to move into a rooming house. And the only ones you can afford on welfare are mostly crack houses. People are saying build more housing! We say not a good idea. We will show you video footage of most these places, and show how they have turned entire decent neighborhoods into slums and violent areas, and the homes of the most dangerous drugs, and how Canada is a haven for meth manufactures north America wide. Social services has become an over cut - under funded Family killer, but it only affect the poor. And those people to stupid not to fight over their children in court like savage animals who lost the ability to think for them selves. All these issues are so inter-related that it was very hard to put it together. Please stop the faces that will keep appearing on this website. Let these children that died a lonely death be remembered and let them be an inspiration.
