Provillus for Hair Loss - Should You Buy It?

J. White
My review of Provillus, other hair loss products, and stopping hair loss....

Unfortunately...I have started to experience some hair loss. I am only 25, but I recently noticed that my hair was getting thinner. Then I noticed my hairline receding further and further back. It can happen to any of us. You never know if you have your mom's side's genes where your grandfather is totally bald, or your dad's side where your grandfather had a full head of hair.

It was starting to look like I had my mom's family's genes when it came to my hair. I noticed this about 2 years ago. So, I decided to do something about it. I did NOT want to be that guy doing the combover and he's not even 30, or has his hair spiked...but its spiked in the middle of his head. I style the front of my hair up as well, so anyone can see my headline, and that its receding. Maybe some of you have it worse than me. I had a neighbor who by his senior year in high school, was completely bald. I know that I have it better than some, but....I still want my hair.

So, I went online, of course, to try and see what I could learn. I came across a site that had an herbal supplement for stopping hair loss and regrowing hair. I tried this product and it worked below average (compared to other products I've used). I don't even remember what it was called because all it did was help stop the hair loss a little. It didnt help it thicken or actually grow back. Also, I remember it being costly as well.

Next, I tried Rogaine because I think about everyone has heard that commercial before, and figured it had a good reputation as far as I knew. The cost is actually pretty reasonable for it (I won't put it in here as it might have changed). It is a topical hair loss treatment that you apply to the balding area. I used it for about 6-8 months actually and I did see some results. It stopped my hair loss, but it also slowly started regrowing my hair after about 4 months. It is an average product. One big downfall for me with Rogaine was that it caused really bad dandruff, and its really just made for people balding the the back, not the front. Also, my hair didn't get that thicker. This was rather embarassing. Its not cool to have dandruff or hair loss/thinning hair when you're in your mid 20's. So, because of the dandruff, and just seeing small results (which are better than nothing, but I needed to have my hair sooner), I moved on.

Once again, I searched around on the internet and read about a product called Provillus. It has an herbal supplement and a topical treatment as the product. I knew that it would at least be ok because it had some of the same ingredients that Rogaine did, so I wasn't that skeptical about trying it.

So...here are my thoughts on Provillus...

I started using Provillus and saw results within about a month to a month and a half. The best things about Provillus are that I did not get dandruff, my hair got thicker, and my hair grew back. I have a few curves in my forehead where I measure my hair loss, and I noticed my hair was actually starting to grow back over the curves where it had receded. I haven't had hair there since high school! Now, I don't know if it works so good because they have the hair loss supplement and the topical treatment, but I can say it worked. Its the best product I've found so far. The cost is average..not too much, but not super cheap. If something works better than average for me, I don't mind paying for it.

I am not sure if there is just one company that sells Provillus like Rogaine, or if there are multiple manufacturers, but I can tell you where I got it from, and I can tell you that it works. Here is the site that I got it through. There is more information there too I'm sure.
