PS 58 in Carroll Gardens Performs for VH1 Save the Music Foundation Gala

Sarah James, P.S. 58's Upper Grade Music Teacher, helped students rehearse and prepare for this star studded evening. The gala honored Julie Andrews, John Mayer, John Legend and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Foundation.
P.S. 58 was the first school to ever receive a grant from the VHI Save The Music Foundation. Since 1997, the foundation has helped restore music programs in public schools across America according to VH1.
