Psalm 13

"1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?

2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?

3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;

4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.

6 I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me."

Many times it seems like we have fallen or God has hidden from us. However, God is usually right there with us. When we think we have fallen is when we must realize that God is behind us where we stand. Jesus had to face our penalty for sin and the Father had to turn His back to the Son, but Jesus had risen again conquering death and giving us His victory. God has loved us first and continued loving us, so now we must trust God in our hard times and during our persecutions, for Jesus face the same and even more pain from our price of sin that He paid for us. He was actually separated from the Father quickly but to rise again and receive the glory that He deserves for taking our cost to the cross. God has been good to us. Would you have died on the cross for Jesus Christ?
