PSP Go! News

The new product from Sony "Psp Go!" could be a huge hit, or a total failure. Why you might ask? It's simple, there are no more UMDs, and you have to download every game you want. Thus, there is limited storage unlike the 1000 through 3000 Psps. Beside from that, the footage found on E3 reviled the amazing graphics this new psp can handle. This is almost a Portable PS3. It has a nice, cool, slick design. It can hold up to 16 GB's of memory. It has Skype built in like the other Psps, Photos, music, videos and finally games. It is also wifi and Bluetooth enabled. This is the smallest Psp yet, and has slide down controls. Now, this is $249 dollars, the same price for the Nintendo Wii. So you might want to think twice before infesting all that money in this little thing. You can also buy a camera that goes on to the Psp go!, for 59.99. It's quite a shame that we are paying so much for this, but doesn't have a camera built in.

Let's talk about what it looks like. It's small, so if you're on the go a lot, on long car rides or at the airport, you will like this. It doesn't look like a figure print magnet like the other psps, so that's a plus. It has slide in controls, so it's even smaller when you're not playing it. It reminds me of the Game Boy SP. It does look very cool and stylish, so I don't think you would be ashamed to be playing it in public. Like the old Psp, it still only has one analog stick. I knew we all wanted another one but no, Sony needs to listen to us more.

It does have some psp go! only games. But there are still going to be UMDs, so if you have an old psp, don't worry. It has all the other features of the other psps but this has 16 GB internal memory, and there are no more UMDs, you have to download all of them.

So, overall, it does not look like a must buy if you already have a psp, but if you still have the 1000, or no psp at all, you should give this a try. Again, there is a 249 dollar price tag, so give it some thought before you buy it, you could get an Xbox 360 or a Wii. It comes out 10/01/09.
