PSP - The Portable Media Entertainment System for Years to Come!

Of all the entertainment systems on the market today, there is only one media entertainment system that is capable of handling multiple applications; and as an added bonus -it's portable! I am referring to the Sony PSP (Playstation® Portable) This is the first system designed to handle music, videos, photos, internet (with wireless connectivity), and games, all in one.

This device is no larger than the Nintendo® DS, but has great potential. One might not know where to start in this entertainment library! The games, photos, videos, and music cannot be played unless you have a memory stick duo. (A memory stick duo is just like a memory card used to store information on the Playstation® console.)

There are over one hundred and thirty-five games available for portable play, in a wide selection of genres. (May I recommend the game Need for Speed: Carbon, it is a big hit in my family!) There are many features available when you are playing games on the PSP. For example, you can play against your friends with the option of game sharing or multiplayer gaming. The PSP also allows you to play by your self with single player gaming.

You can take all your tunes to go also! Carry all your favorite music in MP3, M4, WAV, or WMA format.
Your favorite photos can be taken on the go too. You can even watch them in a slideshow, or use your pictures as custom wallpaper.

For those of you who like the computer, the PSP's Wireless connectivity function might come in handy. All one has to do is connect to a wireless router, and make sure the WLAN switch is turned on on the PSP, and connect! You can also connect to a 'Hot Spot', at your local coffee shop.

Finally, my favorite feature of the PSP is its ability to watch full length UMD™ movies. A 90 minute movie can be viewed on a 512 MD memory stick. Take your favorite music videos with you whenever you go, and have all the latest hits right at your fingertips! All the excitement can be viewed on the widescreen LCD of the PSP.

There are even added extras like TivoToGo™. With TivoToGo™ you can watch your favorite TV shows on your PSP system, anywhere. Also, you can download game demos from the SONY PSP website!

I truly think the PSP will be around for many years to come.
