But for those that believe, the night was amazing. From the moment Sylvia walked out on stage and sat down, a peace filled the room. Her presentation on relationships was not only rousing, but comical as well. Although she states in her books that she gets very nervous before a crowd, she seems at ease being in front of people. She moved the audience with her honesty, humor, and reality of life; which she states, "is hell, dieing is heaven." She finds it important to let the audience know that it is up to them what they take home after listening to her lectures. She doesn't believe in cramming ideas down people's throats. "Take what you want, and leave the rest."
Sylvia spoke about releasing negativity from your life, whether it comes from a spouse, boss, or even a friend. She was open about her relationship with her mother and ex-husband and how that negativity affected her life. She stated that the bible says you must honor your mother and father. In speaking with her spirit guide, Francine, she was told that "you can't honor someone that is not honorable." She also spoke about not judging others, but said you can judge evil: Hitler, Bin Laden, and even yes, Bush. After a laugh, she stated that she respects the president, but thinks that basically, anyone would be.... better. Laughter and cheers followed that statement. Ms. Browne also told the audience that her very good friend Montel Williams gives her a hard time when she makes fun of Hillary Clinton running for president. Sylvia laughed as she asked, "What are we going to do if she is going through menopause and gets pissed off.?"
After an hour of advising everyone to just let go of the negative energy that surrounds and give your thanks God, Sylvia led a meditation. Her words were gentle and peaceful. She led the listeners into a flower filled field, and then a small white house. She spoke warmly asking those to invite loved ones who have passed on or are living into the house. "Tell them whatever you need to say to them," she said. "This is the time to just let go. Maybe you weren't able to say goodbye, or maybe you need to tell them something that you have never been able to tell them. Tell them now, let it go." Her voice was soothing and allowed the audience to really let go. Sniffles could be heard the conference room as people spoke to their loved ones.
Sylvia then began calling people at random by pulling numbers that matched the bracelets the audience was wearing to come up and ask her questions. Many questions were answered about relationships, marriage, and loved ones who have already passed over. For those in attendance that might have been skeptical about Sylvia's ability to see those that are on the other side, they probably weren't any longer after that night. Sylvia asked the audience if there were any one in attendance that recently lost someone named Josephine. She confirmed that it was a young girl who was killed quickly in an accident and that she was showing Sylvia that it was a trauma to the head. No one knew anything, but Sylvia stated that her presence was very strong. She went ahead and moved on to the next guest at the microphone. The lady stated that her name was Josephine and that she was up there for her sister who had lost her daughter recently in a car accident. She hit her head and died instantly. Sylvia looked at her and said, "I just said that. I might not always be exactly right, but come on." Sylvia heard the name Josephine and assumed it was that of the loved one that had passed on.
Sylvia's presence and aura was incredibly strong throughout the room. You could almost feel God sitting there with you. Her lecture on relationships was well received. As the night came to a close Sylvia signed books and greeted guests with "God bless you, thank you for coming, and God love you." Not only was she convincing, spiritual, and comical, she left her guests with a feeling of inner peace and love. Despite the disorganization in parking at the Chesapeake Conference Center, the evening was a success. Sylvia Browne really is an angel on Earth.

It's hard to believe that Sylvia Brown is legitimate. BUT I went to her show with my mother. For 3 nights before the show, I would get up in the middle of night to use the bathroom and I smelled roses really strongly. I couldn't figure out where it would be coming from. My mother's number was called. She went up to the microphone and said that her son died when he was 3 (my baby brother) and are there any signs that he is around. Sylvia responded, "You'll smell flowers. Roses." I just don't think that's coincidence. It really shocked me.
Also Sylvia was drawn to a particular audience member. Sylvia told this woman that she had a picture of her grandfather on her. The woman insisted she did not. Sylvia did not take no for an answer, she kept asserting that the woman does indeed have a picture of her grandfather on her. After going in circles for a bit, the woman realized she was wearing a locket around her neck with her grandfather's picture. First of all, the locket w

I went to see sylvia in washington about 3years ago.I found her show to be pleasant.I wish she would have given me a reading but she didnot pick my number.so I really donot know if she is right with her preditions. I enjoy watching montel and her together.I would just appreciate if people would leave montel alone about sylvia because he has a lot of important show about the public health statics.
Sylvia Browne prays on the vulnerable, desperate and ignorant, and takes money from them. It's not a very honerable way to earn a living, and it's unfortunate that Montel Williams gives her airtime.
Sylvia Browne has never worked with the FBI in any meaningful way. No psychic has ever offered
any insight of any value to any missing persons investigation.
In fact, police stations often have to deal with psychics wasting their time with delusions.
This is not an insult, but a fact. Starting your article with "Sylvia works with the FBI"
is unprofessional and propagating a myth.
Sylvia only offers information about missing children cases to the media. This is fairly easy to
do considering 99% of the cases she describes are never found again.
In the few times that a child or their body is actually found (Hornbeck, Opal Jo Jennings, etc)
one can see how ridiculously wrong Sylvias information is.
Parents dont go on the Montel show for Sylvia's "help". They agree to appear, in the hopes
that one of the millions of viewers may provide further information to the ongoing investigation.
Anyone who does even the slightest amount of research will see that Sylvia Browne has made numerous very very wrong predictions with a lot of confidence. She is 100% fraud if there ever was one. She preys on those who are most in need, and is shameless in her scams.
This article was very very obviously posted by a very biased individual. Quite possibly Sylvia posted this herself. "Sylvia Browne really is an angel on Earth." Only her huge ego could account for that. GIVE ME A BREAK!
