PTC & Freebies:Scams Or Not?

As a person who loves to earn freebies and money , I can always go for a site that offers them. Yet as I am sure you are aware as I am, that most sites that tote "freebies" or "free prizes" are either scams or start out real and then go down hill from there. I have heard of many "great" sites that have turned out into scams(Netwinner comes to mind). And then there are the scams that are pyramid scams of referrals where you'll get your "free gift" after you spend some money and get your friends do the exact same thing. Then there are the "instant win" scams and other types. But don't let this make your head spins, I also come with good news! I'll show you scams and real ways to get free gifts without spending money or by getting referrals only(of course they do help sometimes they shouldn't be the only way or path to freebies by any means).

What is a good freebie site?

That is a good question, what makes them worth while? After all you do the dirty work for them, so you ought to know if they're worth your time, right? I say it depends on what each person wants out of a site. For me, I know I do not want a site that only offer points or coins to place in a raffle. I want a site that offers points to save up to spend on real things, and/or it has instant win chances. But it really depends on what each person wants. Maybe you like the raffle tickets, if so then look for those types. To each their own as they say.

What makes a freebie site bad?

Again, I say it really depends on what you want out of a freebie site. But I do believe we all can agree on the fact that if they don't really send our either the money or prizes, it's safe to say it is a scam.

What freebie sites are scams?

There are plenty that are, most survey sites are. There are many sites that perhaps start out paying just to get members, but then they'll change their song and dance and not pay.

What sites that do pay or give out prizes?

I am only going to name sites that have paid me(but no referral links will be here, so don't worry), so I am pretty sure that they're more sites that do pay than I am going to list. Feel free to comment on ones that have paid you.

Promosquad, I have gotten 3 cds from them. They're slow, but they do come. They have good message board with info and ect.

Cash Crate, I have been paid once by them. I don't use it anymore though, not because of problems with them, just I feel that it is a wrong fit with me.

Iwon, this site may not fit with my whole theme here, but they do send out prizes.

Gather, a site that you can earn money or gift cards. They do pay out, and pretty quickly.
