Public Libraries Located in Cumming, Georgia
Both branches offer a variety of programs to the general public. The main branch offers: Friends of the Library book sale for members and nonmembers, Lapsit (which is story time for 2 and 3 year olds), Story Time (for 4 and 5 year olds), Book Discussion, Teen Night, and the Summer Showcase. The secondary branch offers Lapsit (which is story time for 2 and 3 year olds), Story Time (for 4 and 5 year olds), Book Discussion, Teen Night, and the Summer Showcase.
Sadly, though, recent budgetary issues have forced the library to make some changes to their policy. The biggest change has been to the time period of check-out materials. The new length of check-out materials will now be two weeks beginning May 1, 2009. In addition to this change, patrons may now renew materials at anytime using the automated system.
