Public Meeting and Comment Period Announced for Revised Seattle Center Campus Rules

Seattle Center is amending its Campus Rules in order to update certain sections pertaining to street performers and to modify the Campus Exclusion Rule period from the current five days to up to a maximum of 365 days for violators of campus rules or any other applicable Seattle Center rules; Seattle Municipal Code, the Revised Code of Washington, or other applicable law. Copies of the proposed revised Campus Rules are available at www.seattlecenter.com or at the Director"s Office - Seattle Center, 305 Harrison Street, Suite 215, Seattle, WA, 98109 - Seattle Center House, 2nd Floor or by email by contacting denise.wells@seattle.gov. Written comments regarding the proposed revised Campus Rules may be submitted by 5 p.m., Dec. 19, 2010 to Denise Wells, Seattle Center, 305 Harrison Street, Suite 215, Seattle, WA, 98109 or to denise.wells@seattle.gov.

Seattle Center will also conduct a public meeting regarding the proposed revised Campus Rules on Dec.16, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. The public meeting will take place in Conference Room H located on the 3rd floor of Seattle Center House. The public comment period and meeting allow the public to comment on the proposed changes prior to issuance of the revised Campus Rules under Seattle Municipal Code Section 17.04.040 - Adoption of Rules and Regulations.
