Deliver an Incredible Speech

Chris Knight
Practice speaking from your diaphragm
Have you ever noticed the way a baby breathes? If you notice, the stomach goes up and down when it is taking breathes. Believe it or not, babies know how to breathe better than many grown-ups do. You probably tend to breathe from your chest than your stomach. Be sure that you practice breathing from your stomach, as you can develop a strong, powerful, and authoritative voice to the audience.

Why does it make your voice more powerful? It's simple, you receive much more air when you speak from your stomach, and you automatically have the ability to send out strong sound waves through the air. It will help you from speaking "out of your nose", as that tends to weaken your speech. Practice speaking from your stomach and you'll quickly see results!

Practice mouth exercises - Exaggerate Vowels
You will want to make sure that you exaggerate the usage of the vowels A, E, I, O, U. You will want to say each vowel for at least one second before moving on to the next letter. Why do you want to do this? It's simple; every single word that you will use in your speech has a vowel in it. By knowing how to pronounce each vowel, you can ensure that your speech will be delivered clearly.

You also want to stretch your mouth to its limits. Yes, you will look a little silly doing it; however, you will reap the benefits as the vowels will seem to flow from your mouth. Your speaking will not seem "forced", and "hard". It will flow nicely, and your audience will take great pleasure in hearing a clearly delivered speech

Practice Mental Relaxation
This will take approximately 15 minutes. You will want to make sure that you are in an isolated environment, in which people will not be able to bother you. You will want to either lie down or sit down on a comfortable mattress or seat and begin visualizing yourself in a comfortable setting. Whether this is a bath, at a resort, at a relaxing therapy, or even sleeping in your own cozy bed, imagine yourself relaxing.

After this, you will want to imagine that you are watching yourself on the television screen giving the speech. You want to look at yourself as if you are delivering a relaxed intelligent speech to the audience. What makes you looked relax? Why is the speech so incredible? When you have come to the full understanding of your relaxation, you'll be prepared to give your speech. When you have reached a stage of complete relaxation, you will want to maintain it up until the end of the speech!

Conclusion
By practicing mental exercises, vocal exercises, and pronunciation exercises; you can ensure yourself that you will deliver incredible speeches on a consistent basis!
