Publishing on Associated Content

The Goal: Have 200 articles published on AC before my husband gets home from Iraq in 5 days.
The Back story: My goal was to publish my 200 by March. I was distracted in January and publishing during my husband's mid-tour leave home is unrealistic so I'm left to choose between crazy, unrealistic goals unless I want to just forget the whole thing.
Complications: We are snowed in from the historic 2010 snowmageddon which means that my mother, and my two children are home needing company and attention so I can't just hole up when the kids go to school! If the power goes out I'll just have to write with pen and paper and upload later!

Why I'm Doing This
There are people who say that work better under the wire with the deadline knocking at their door. I fit into that category not because I work better but because sometimes its the only way I actually work. Tomorrow is always another day and there is always something more interesting today!

It's a Benchmark
For New Years I resolved to write. I decided that the time has come to put in the resolve and the discipline to write with intent and manifest my ambition. I resolved to focus the twelve months of 2010 approaching my writing as a job and not a hobby for the first time. Associated Content Clout level 10 is one of my benchmark goals and 200 articles is like getting over the hump.

It Will Make Me a Better Writer
There is no way that writing and publishing this many articles won't make me better at my craft! I'm sure that I will learn more through this process than I could any other way. There is no way to improve as a writer other than to write to let the improvement begin!

The New AC Design Inspires Me
Yes, the new design is giving some people headaches but all and all I think it is a good change and if AC can change and improve without loosing its soul then so can I. My fist years on AC have been stagnant and aimless but I'm going to be a new active contributor on the new Associated Content.

Will I Succeed?
To be honest I'm not sure! This article brings my published content count to 47. That means 153 more articles to go. (Over 62,000 words.) I'm not even going to do the math and divide out the workload that I am attacking. I have some existing rough drafts that I can edit and upload. I have no shortage of ideas so wish me luck and follow my progress!
