Presbyterians United for Mission Advance (PUMA) is a mission conference taking place this October 10-12th at Duffield Camp & Retreat Center in Delevan, New York. The conference will feature workshops on the various aspects of missions, ranging in topic from "Young Adults in Mission" to "God's Heart for the Nations" to "Sharing the Gospel through story telling" and more. PUMA is open to all ages, and even has separate activities for kids.

Rev. Jim and Lois Caldwell from southeastern PA are part of World Mission Initiative, the Mission ministry of Pittsburg Theological Seminary. Jim's Masters in Divinity is from Princeton Seminary; Lois' M.A. in Counseling Psychology is from Immaculata University. Jim was Assoc. Pastor for Mission at Paoli Presbyterian Church, and they have led 10 mission teams to 14 different countries around the globe.

Lee Clark is currently Pastor of MacAlpine Presbyterian Church in Buffalo, NY. His doctoral work has been on the education and mobilization of children for missions.

Jason Cashing is a pastor serving Franklinville Presbyterian Church, NY. He grew up in Olean, NY and received his B.A in Religious Studies from Allegheny College, and M.Div. from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He has spent two years in the mission field serving with the National Volunteer Office of the PC (USA), in both Alaska and Montana.

Dave Kunselman is coordinator of "Perspectives" for WNY. This 13 week training course has been taken by over 70,000 people. A former missionary, with Wycliffe Bible translators, Dave and his wife Pat served the Lord for 8 years in Australia.

Carol Ann Gleason is also known as the Cheerful Messenger as she relates the Scripture to others. She is a member of the National Organization of Biblical Storytellers and a Deacon at Knox church. Karen Tanner is the current Executive Director of Duffield Camp and Retreat Center. In her ministries she has served as a Youth Director at Clarence Presbyterian Church in Clarence, NY for 7 years and has been involved in short term missions for 25 years, including local, national, and international missions.

Bill Townsend is an elder at North Presbyterian, Williamsville, and chairs the Presbytery of WNY's Outreach Ministry Team. He will be introducing representatives from Habitat for Humanity Buffalo and Journey's End. These are local missions that many Presbyterian Churches are collaborating with.
