Demanding more than there is to get,
Will likely get you less.
Looking for work requires fuel
For many job seekers,
And who can afford a horse or mule,
These days?
The cost of fuel is unreachable
For some of the unemployed
To hunt for a job that pays.
Oil companies will have less customers,
While their strive should be for more.
How can they make more money,
If less people drive to the store?
A clever farmer doesn't choke his mule
And make him bray,
To get more work done fast?
Who are the smartest characters in this play?
Not the oil salesmen, I suppose,
The farmer and his jack ass?
