Punks Trash a School for the Second Time in Two Weeks
$50,000.00 In Damages by Punks Just Before School Opens Ruins Everything for the Rest of the Students
Twice in the past two weeks a school in our area has been broken into and vandalized- the second time causing over $50,000.00 in damages.
Computers and other equipment were damaged, desks thrown over, windows broken, floors and walls plastered with paint, dirt, even sour milk. Workmen had to scramble to get the classrooms back in shape for the opening of the school.
It appears the perpetrators may be juveniles, little punks who have a total disregard for anyone or anything.
So far, the police haven't made any arrests for these crimes. But even if and when they do, these little creeps won't get what should be coming to them- like being thrown in jail and made to pay for the damages. They will maybe- MAYBE- get a slap on the wrist and be put on probation. Things being what they are in today's society, some do-gooder will take up their case and say even that's too harsh a punishment. They're just kids, after all.
Well these kids have just spoiled things for a lot of other kids. Ruined computers and trashed desks are what they have to start the school year with, unless the school district can somehow come up with the funds to replace them. With money as tight as it is, that's not very likely!
Kids that want to learn, who have every right to the best education we can give them, are going to go without because some little delinquents decided it would be fun to go into the school and trash it.
Why would anybody do such a thing in the first place?
What kind of twisted, perverted thinking does it take to commit a crime like this?
What really makes me angry is the laws in our state say we can't punish these kids as adults!
We have to treat them with kid gloves.
Go harsh on them and it may set back their development as responsible adults. We may hurt their little psyches so badly the poor darlings may never recover from it.
So we mustn't be too upset with them. They have rights, you know.
SURE THEY DO- THE SAME RIGHTS WE GIVE TO CRIMINALS!
Once they made the decision to enter that school and perform those despicable acts they gave up their rights. They broke into a school, (that's a crime), and destroyed property that didn't belong to them, (that's another crime). That makes them criminals! They should be treated as such!
If this were an isolated case, maybe someone could convince me I'm being too harsh, but it isn't.
In the past year we've had other school vandalism, including break-ins, hate messages scrawled across walls, windows broken, even classrooms and schols set on fire.
And it's not limited to schools. Churches have been covered with pornographic graffiti, synagogues desecrated with swastikas, even wooden fences covered with gang symbols.
I know some bleeding heart will probably read this and take me to task for speaking my mind. Save your breath because I'm not buying any of it. There is neither rhyme nor reason to go soft on these punks. They are criminals. They need to be PUNISHED as criminals and the punishment needs to be harsh enough to convince them never to do it again!
There is only one explanation for this kind of action- our sick, degenerate, permissive society where anything goes- including criminal acts.
There's also only one course of action to deal with this, and that's to take whatever action is necessary to put a stop to it once and for all, whatever it takes!
The only question is does anybody have the guts to do it?

Post a CommentYou're right, criminals should be treated as such regardless of their age! They need to learn that they can't get away with these things just because they are miniature punks! UGH, all this American sensitivity and rights we give to those who least deserve it really grinds my gears.
