Puppy Chic in Houston, Texas: A Review

Puppy Chic in Houston, Texas is a boutique where you can take your dog for grooming, doggy daycare, and photography. We decided to stop by Puppy Chic after driving by the new sign several times while running errands in the Houston Heights. Once inside Puppy Chic we were pleasantly surprised to meet the owner and groomer, Natalia Flores, who is as sweet as pie and extremely enthusiastic. Though she did not have experience grooming English cocker spaniels, she was eager and willing to learn.

I later found out that Natalia from Puppy Chic was to throw a fabulous Halloween party for the pubic where she would show films throughout the night, and serve yummy treats (including candy, cupcakes from Yum-Cakes, popcorn, and nachos). So we opted to attend the Halloween party with our dog, Euri, and decided that we would give Natalia a shot at grooming our English cocker spaniel. Though Natalia was busy with the party, she took the time to make the appointment for us which we appreciated.

Later that week I dropped Euri off, rattled off a bunch of instructions, and probably made all of the dogs nervous with my anxious energy. Needless to say I was a bit hesitant to have Euri groomed by someone who didn't have experience with his breed but as it turns out, Natalia put my fears to rest because she did a wonderful job. She even managed to file Euri's nails without any problems which is a big deal.

Euri looked and smelled wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised, so five weeks later I had no qualms about dropping Euri off to be groomed at Puppy Chic a second time. Okay, I had a few worries because after all, he is my cocker kid and I wanted him to look good. When Natalia from Puppy Chic in Houston, TX was done with Euri's groom, she called me so I could go pick up my fur baby right away.

I was once again pleasantly surprised but this time even more so. Euri appeared to be extremely handsome and I was greeted by a group of friendly puppies who were adorable. Natalia from Puppy Chic in Houston, TX not only took pride in her work but she did what she said she was going to do from day one: learn how to groom an English cocker spaniel. She had her grooming book out and showed me what she would like Euri to look like (which meant I had to let some of his fur grow in). Natalia's grooming skills and her precision work are to be commended, admired and respected. I don't know how she did it but she is certainly adept at her job.

I highly recommend Puppy Chic in Houston, TX and feel so lucky to have finally found a groomer who is willing to take the time to do the job right, doesn't charge a fortune, and is located in the Houston Heights.
