Puppy Chow - a Sweet and Crunchy Super Bowl Snack

Enjoy this sweet and crunchy treat during your Super Bowl Sunday celebration. Adults and kids alike will love this one!

Ingredients

Serves 20

1 12 oz. box Corn Chex or Crispix Cereal

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 cup peanut butter - creamy

1 12 oz. package chocolate chips

2-3 cups Confectioners sugar

Combine butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips.

Place in microwave-safe bowl.

Microwave on High for 2-3 minutes.

Stir halfway through, until mixture is melted and smooth

Pour cereal into large bowl.

Set aside.

Pour chocolate-peanut butter mixture over cereal.

Stir until thoroughly coated.

Place confectioners sugar in 1 gallon size food storage bag.

Use a zipper storage bag for ease of use.

Add coated cereal to bag and shake to coat thoroughly with confectioners sugar.

Toss about 1/4 of mixture at a time. Shake until evenly coated.

Place coated cereal mix on cookie sheet until cool and dry.

Cereal mix may clump slightly.

Place in bowl and serve!
