Pure and White!

John Smither
I leave home

To begin

My daily call

To go to work

The snow

Is falling

Heavily

A slow drive

Drifting in the breeze

Throughout the day

Reports of grief

Upon the roads

This morning

First thing

Pure snow

So white and pure

Now all I see

Only black sludge

Caused by vehicles

With their unhappy

Drivers

Going about

Their daily drudge
