The main gist of this particular gum is that it whitens teeth like most other gums out in the market today tend to claim. What intrigued me was the fact that this particular gum contained "white tea extract". Now, although I'm not sure what was the point of having white tea extract in gum, but I am also a big tea lover, so that got my attention nonetheless. The flavor of this gum is an addictive and makes you ant to keep popping each piece of gum into your mouth non-stop just to keep that flavor going. Like all other Mentos gum and candy, the shape is round and has a juicy center bursting with flavor. Does this gum really whiten your teeth like its name claims? Well, my teeth appeared the same, at least not less white. For me, what made me like the gum was that it had long lasting fruit flavor and provide fresher breath. Isn't that what chewing gum is supposed to do anyway?
This gum comes in a plastic snap case container which holds 15 pieces. I'm not a big fan of the plastic container since it creates more waste, but it does keep the gum more fresh and from hardening. Like other popular gums, it is sugar-free, so it contains potentially harmful ingredients such as aspartame, but that can't really be avoided since most gums are "sugar-free" now. Each of these individual containers retail for about 99 cents each, and I'm hoping that they will come out with a multi-pack soon since these individual ones can be pricey if not on sale.
