I have long hair, about to the middle of my back and like to keep my hair long, so that is why it's taking a longer time for this to grow out, because I do not get cuts as frequently as I should. I was looking for something that could make my hair look and feel healthier.
I recently called a salon and explained that my hair had been damaged from bleach. The receptionist at the salon suggested that I use Pureology Instant Repair conditioner. She said it works great at repairing damaged hair and restoring shine and luster back into the hair. She also said she uses it when her hair looks split at the ends and she said it really works very well.
Within a few minutes after hanging up with her, I searched online for this conditioner. I saw a 2 oz bottle of Pureology Instant Repair conditioner going for about $7 a bottle. This is quite expensive for a 2 oz bottle of conditioner, as this was a sale price. I bought it anyway to try it out and see if it would work on my hair.
After shampooing my hair, I put about a quarter size of Pureology Instant Repair conditioner into the bottom half of my hair, near my ends. I never put conditioner on or near my roots because I feel that it weighs my hair down. The directions on the bottle say to leave the conditioner on your hair for 2 minutes.
I waited 2 minutes while I let the conditioner absorb in my hair. After rinsing it out, my hair felt silkier, like it does when I get it washed at a hair salon. After blowdrying my hair, I noticed that it felt smoother and looked shinier. I was pleased with the results.
The next time I used the conditioner, I blewdry my hair and straightened it. My hair felt so much smoother when I was straightening it. It didn't feel rough or pull on my hair. My hair looked much better afterward.
This conditioner does not weigh my hair down like other conditioners I have used in the past. My hair is now more manageable and less tangled than before.
I really wish this conditioner was less expensive than it is because it works really well. After using it, my hair looks and feels so much better. I told a friend about it and she told me that she used it before and loved it. She said it made her hair feel so shiny and smooth and it really helped to smooth down her split ends. She stopped using it because it is so expensive and after going back to her old conditioner, she realized that Pureology worked so much better.
I ordered another 2 oz bottle because at this point, I really don't want to go back to my old conditioner. Pureology Instant Repair conditioner is slowly giving me the hair that I used to have before the hightlights. It just feels healthier, shinier, smoother and softer. If you don't mind the cost, I would recommend giving this conditioner a try if you would like your hair to look healthier and shinier. You could buy the travel size like I did. For me, it is well worth the price.
