Purina Chef Michael's Canine Creations Filet Mignon Dog Food Product Review

Kassidy Emmerson
I have two dogs. One eats just about anything. He doesn't care what brand of dog food I buy, but he does prefer smaller pieces. My other dog, a beagle mix, is another story. He's a picky little guy. He eats canned dog food sometimes. He doesn't like moist very well. And he doesn't care for many brands of dry dog food. The best food I've found for him to date is Dad's Bite Size Meals. So, I'm always on the look out for a dog food that I think he'll dig into. It's a difficult task. Read this informative "Purina Chef Michael's Canine Creations Filet Mignon Dog Food" product review and find out all about it.

Price and Availability
I found this dog food at a local Big Lots. A 4.5-pound bag cost $6.00. I checked Amazon.com for a comparative price. Currently, it's $7.99 there. Purina Chef Michael's Canine Creations Filet Mignon Dog Food is pricey at $1.33 a pound. A 20-pound bag of Dad's dog food is a little under ten dollars. That equals approximately 50 cents a pound.

Product Description
It costs about three times more than regular dog food, but this product doesn't look like dog food. It resembles human food. It consists of tender, meaty pieces with crunchy potato and green bean garnishments. From a human standpoint, it does look appealing. That's one reason I bought a bag of Purina Chef Michael's Canine Creations Filet Mignon Dog Food.

Product Taste Test and Conclusion
The real test is in the taste. My picky dog has been scarfing down Purina Chef Michael's Canine Creations Filet Mignon Dog Food for three days now. The fact that my dog loves this food impresses me. My other dog loves it as well. So, they give it two paws up!

Thanks for the review. I'm sure my cats would go for it too. But I've heard you shouldn't give dog food to cats, so I won't even try!

I bet you're right, Amanda. When I poured some of the food into a bowl to snap the picture, my cat tried to eat it.
