Purple Tulips
I want boots
with purple tulips
but simple ones will do for now
I want to feel
like the queen of the world
not the maiden who milks the cow
Purple tulips
would make me feel like a woman
like J.J., I'd be "dy-no-MITE"
A little bit of grace
and flair at the same time
as I stomp off into the proverbial night
Purple tulips
are a pick-me-up
'cause, sometimes, life gets you down
But, I can pretend
I am wearing purple tulips
and sport my imaginary crown
with purple tulips
