Push the Movie Reviewed

I recently saw the movie "Push" starring Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning. On a scale of one to five I would say a solid thee and a half. The movie starts when Young Nick Grant witnesses the murder of his father by "The Division." The Division is rounding up all people with special abilities for experiments to build a super human army.

The People with special abilities are categorized by their specific ability. The main characters are as follows;

Nick Grant - Telekinetic, also known as movers, have the ability to move objects at will.

Cassie Holmes- Clairvoyant, also known as watchers, have the ability to see the future.

Kira- Pusher, has the ability to make others do what they want by implanting thoughts in their minds.

Henry Carver- Also a pusher working for the Division

After watching his father get murdered by Henry Carver, Nick is hiding out in Hong Kong. He is trying to live under the radar when Carrie Holmes finds him and tells him she needs his help. They have to find a girl and a brief case that could take down the Division for good. Henry Carver is hot on their trail as he also wants the girl and brief case to advance the Divisions plans.

The movie is definitely entertaining and the characters are all played well by their respective actors. It seemed a little like an X-Men rip off but not in a bad way. There are a couple of nice little twists to keep you interested and the action scenes are a lot of fun. If you like the Super Hero movies and/or action movies this one is pretty good. Not the next big thing for sure but well worth watching.
