Model Naomi Campbell was arrested...again, this time for supposedly making a huge stink about the handling of her luggage and allegedly spitting on an officer at Heathrow airport.
Having nothing to do with the simple fact that in this post-9/11 world, belligerent airport behavior will get you arrested in a heartbeat. We'll push that aside for the moment. You (Black or white) can't act a fool at an airport, end of story. No ifs, ands or buts. You (as a Black person) should know you REALLY don't have room for error in judgment in an airport.
Isn't that right Snoop?
Campbell has at least 8 documented claims against her relating to physical and verbal abuse of her staff.
· 2006, pleaded guilty to hitting her housekeeper over the head.
· 2005, a former assistant to the celebrity filed a lawsuit claiming she was left " covered in blood" after being struck on the head with Ms Campbell's BlackBerry at a hotel room in Rome.
· 2004 - one of her maids accused Campbell of slapping her. An assistant, claimed Ms Campbell kept her "hostage", a charge that the London-born model denied.
· 1998 - pleaded guilty to striking another aide, and again paid undisclosed damages.
Despite this long and documented history, "fans" of Campbell argue that her latest alleged behavior wasn't worthy of arrest or that she is being "targeted" because of her supposed "celebrity" status.
Really? Honestly? All of her previous incidents were thinly-veiled extortion schemes? All of these incidents are misrepresentations of the true nature of Naomi Campbell?
Uh...ok.
Mo'Kelly thinks the truth is somewhere connected to the idea of Campbell being both violent and insane. This is one crazy and deranged, anorexic heifer. Her celebrity status hasn't exacerbated her situation, only served to enable such ridiculous behavior. If Campbell wasn't a celebrity, she'd probably be in Rikers Island trading cigarettes and desserts with Foxxy Brown.
Back to the top...when does "enough" rise to the level of being considered "enough?" At what point are we honest enough with ourselves to call for Naomi Campbell to be committed to a mental ward once and for all? Her behavior is neither normal nor isolated in nature; both belligerent and violent. She is dangerous to herself and those around her. How many chances does one deserve before this chick is put away for a long time in a rubber room? Give her a Gucci straight-jacket, a Prada bed pan and call it a day.
She's needs to go to jail or the funny farm. Either/or, one or the other. But Naomi Campbell has proven her incompetence at living amongst the rest of us law-abiding, well-adjusted human beings.
The deeper issue has to do with the idea of celebrity entitlement and how that ultimately works to Campbell's detriment. Invariably, (without treatment or solitary confinement) Campbell will assault someone again. She is clearly unable to control herself or her emotions. As things are now, Campbell will be arrested again and Campbell will be set free again.
In fact, she's presently out on bail.
The behavior repeats itself because Campbell has never been forced to adequately suffer because of her behavior. "Undisclosed payments," community service and/or anger management classes have proven themselves ineffective deterrents and only enabled more destructive behavior.
And Campbell has obliged accordingly.
Taking away one's freedom for a substantial amount of time usually does the trick. Imagine any supermodel being forced to live the life of an inmate for a good six months. Mo'Kelly's only guessing that like Sam Cooke once sang...A Change Gon' Come. Extended vacations in 6 x 9 cells sometimes have that effect on "celebrities." At the minimum, it precludes her from assaulting employees and endangering passengers in the interim.
Somebody reading this rant is probably wondering why Mo'Kelly has even chosen this subject to discuss.
Simple...Whitney Houston.
Remember when Whitney Houston admitted her extensive experimentation with drugs on national television? It wasn't until her third rehab stint that people began to publicly discuss saving her life. The same applies in this instance.
Let this latest Campbell arrest serve as her "Whitney Houston/Diane Sawyer moment"...once again.
It's abundantly clear that Campbell is emotionally disturbed. Of that, we are certain. She is a constant threat to herself and those around her. We can either address her problem head on...or read her obituary and insincerely commiserate about how "tragic" her end was.
A history of violent incidents only ensures a future replete with more of the same...that is, unless the person is either treated or put in a jail for an extended stay.
When does "enough" become "enough?" The fifth arrest? The 10th complaint? Just give Mo'Kelly a number and we'll go with it. If not...put her in jail and let her ring in 2009 dodging toothbrush shanks and shives. THAT will surely change her behavior. And if it doesn't, her next stay will be twice as long.
Either way, problem solved.

Naomi Campbel is the most trusted person you can ever be with. how can you judge her bassed on prejudice?? people fight people they do not understand. and people take advantage of people that has been lebeled by others thereby provoking them the more. please do read the details of her case then you will tell me if you will still remain calm.
she may have missed the motherly guide and had to fight her way to succes as an african woman, people like tyra banks gave up because they could not take the heat but Naomi fight hard to be where she is with hard work.
read her story with a non prejudice spirit thn you will understand her pains, her mother is the closest person to her and her confidence.
I know you idiots have issues with successful Africans and put them under sever pressure of scrutiny so anything they do is exaggerated and blown out of proposition. I was so convinced the Oprah Interview settles it for all haters. but NO! they found one tiny thing to twist . Oh my God, help the
She's just a dumb Black person who wouldn't have a dime if it weren't for the Protocols Of Zion. The Jews using the Blacks to destroy the White race.
love to put her in a rubber straitjacket
Seriously jail may be what she needs to stop randomly flipping out on people.
You are so right. Someone needs to check Naomi's attitude. But,she might have to actually shoot someone, like Remy Ma did, before they actually throw her behind in jail. As for now, it is possible that she will just get off again.
