Putin Tries to Lay Claim to Arctic Circle

Oil, Gas, and Diamonds

The Daily Mail, out of the UK, is reporting that Vladimir Putin is claiming that the North Pole and surrounding Arctic belongs to Russia. There are many people scrambling in the United Nations to try to counter this claim.

In the past, any country could drill for oil and mine in the arctic within 200 miles of their border. There have been attempts in the past by different countries to go deeper into the Arctic, but all of these requests have been denied by the United Nations.

According to Putin, a Russian underwater ridge connects the Arctic to Russia. He believes that this gives him the authority to claim all of the Arctic for Russia.

The United Nations is trying to point out to Putin that just because a piece of the Earth connects landmasses, it does not mean that the two landmasses are the same. The United Nations is pointed to the fact that almost all of the European countries are connected, but are still separate countries.

It is obvious to the United Nations as to what Putin is trying to do fro Russia. Putin has made it a point to state that he wants the West to depend on Russia for oil, not the Middle East. He has also stated that he will do what he can for Russia to ensure that dependence of Russian oil comes in the future.

It is also well known by scientist that the Arctic is not only rich in oil, but also in gas and in diamonds. This would cause for a great economic boost in the Russian economy.

The Arctic is very heavy in oil supply. If Russia were able to take control of the Arctic, they would have more oil then would be needed for years. This would make Putin a legend in Russian history.

The media in Russia is praising Putin for his work in increasing the size and power to Russia. The media is pushing that the rest of the world cannot question the Arctic grab. They will be in for a big surprise over the next few days when the UN finalizes statements against this land grab.

A land grab such as this is actually illegal by international law. Since the UN protects this land, no country is allowed to claim it as it's own. This will put Putin in more hot water with the rest of the world then he has experienced up to this point.

This reporter made an attempt to contact Santa Clause over this ordeal to see what his ideas were about Russia trying to lay claim to his land. A person informed me that Santa will be unreachable for contact until late in December.

The Arctic circle will become an idealic civilization in the future. The ice is starting to melt, people will slowly migrate North. Russia and America will be connected by the Bering Straight tunnel. A civilization of prosperity will develop on the coasts of the Arctic Ocean.
